The holiday season is in full swing and local businesses are gearing up for Noel Night. You're watching the "Local News Network," brought to you by Durango Gelato Coffee and Tea, and Crystal Mart. I'm Sadie Smith. On Friday, December 6th from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, Local First will be partnering with local businesses to celebrate Noel Night, featuring holiday sales and festive events to kick off the season.
Noel Night is a community-wide event that happens in downtown Durango December 6th from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. There'll be sales promotions, there'll be parties, there'll be s'mores, photos with Santa. It's just a festive night for everyone to come out, and really enjoy each other and be neighborly and have a really great time.
Noel Night began in 2002 as a response to the Missionary Ridge Fire to encourage people to support local businesses. Shops throughout downtown Durango will be celebrating with discounted prices, live music, and family friendly activities.
There will be over 70 events ranging from photos with Santa, to gift wrapping, to sales and promotions of all kinds at all of the different shopping venues in downtown Durango.
Local First organizes the event each year in collaboration with local businesses. Keep an eye out for the Local First tables for information about shops, locations, and event details.
It's a fun night, family friendly, and then also there'll be drinks and fun time as well. There'll be photos with Santa and then also hot chocolate. There'll be a s'mores station at Blues, Mtn & Soul.
This community-wide event has been a local favorite for over 20 years, offering the perfect opportunity to tackle your holiday shopping, while supporting local businesses.
We would love for everyone to attend Noel Night. It's a huge community-wide event, it's much beloved. If you've never been, it's so much fun, please come out.
Don't miss this chance to save on holiday spending. More information on Noel Night can be found on the Local First website. For more information about this and other stories, visit durangolocal.news. Thank you for watching this edition of the "Local News Network." I'm Sadie Smith.
